10-500kV composite Suspension Insulator

Suspension insulators, also known as overhead line insulators, are crucial components in electrical power transmission and distribution systems. They are typically used to suspend and support overhead power lines while electrically isolating them from the supporting structures, such as towers or poles.

Abimat Electric Suspension insulators consist of several components: a composite insulator body, end fittings (metallic parts that connect the insulator to the line and support structure), and usually a metal or composite pin for mechanical attachment. The insulator body is designed to provide high electrical resistance and mechanical strength, capable of withstanding the electrical stresses and mechanical loads encountered in outdoor environments.

The design of suspension insulators ensures effective insulation and safe operation of overhead power lines, even under varying weather conditions and environmental factors.
